FAA Licensed

FAA Mission Statement - 

"Our continuing mission is to provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world."

To that end the FAA licenses all commercial drone pilots who operate in the airspace above the United States. Hickory Sky only flys missions with current Part 107 license holders. 

North Carolina has in place the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program which insures NCDOT has the authority to implement and manage regulations pertaining to state laws concerning drone operations within the state. All Hickory Sky operators are NCDOT Permit Holders.

All commercial flights are  insured up to $1,000,000.  Additional coverage may be obtained if needed. Client can be named as additional insured with a Certificate of Insurance (COI) available on request. 

All commercially operated  flights must take place with FAA registered airframes.  All Hickory Sky's airframe inventory maintains current FAA registrations. Airframe registration available on request. 

North Carolina requires all commercial photographers to hold a state license.  Hickory Sky is legally permitted to operate as a professional commercial photographer within North Carolina.  Creating amazing images around the State and beyond for 17 years.
